August 29, 2010 - City of Beckley Election Reform Passes
The amendments to change the City of Beckley's Charter to eliminate the city's primary election and hold a single nonpartisan election were passed by Beckley voters nearly 2 -1 in Saturday's special election.  Beckley Mayoral Candidate Tony Martin issues a statment.  >>Click here to read it.

2010 Juneteenth Spirit of Change Honor
Beckley's 6th annual Juneteenth Multicultural Festival was kicked off with an honors program that was held on Thursday at Tamarak.  Beckley Mayoral Candidate Tony Martin received the honor after being nominated in the category of Politics at
the ceremony.

March 24, 2010 - The Muster Project Unveiled Beckley's Teen Court
Juveniles charged with misdemeanor crimes in Raleigh County will have their cases argured by teenage prosecuting and defense attorneys before a jury of fellow teenagers.  Tony Martin serves as an office on the Muster Project's Board of Directors.

January 12, 2010 - Beckley City Officials Propose Changing City's Election Procedure
City officials say the change is in an effort to increase voter turnout and to save the city money.  Beckley Mayoral Candidate Tony Martin beleives the city should take this opportunity to align municipal election with mid-term congressional elections.  Allowing the city to successfully save money and increase voter turnout.

December 7, 2009 - Ben Bolen Receives Campaign's Star Citizen Award
Beckley Mayoral Candidate Tony Martin pents Ben Bolen his campaign's Star Citizen Award.
Ben Bolen decided he would celebrate his birthday this year by giving Christmas to others.  It was for this reason TONY|2011 selected Ben Bolen to be the first recepient of the TONY|2011 Star Citizen Award.

December 5, 2009 - Beckley Christmas Parade
It looked a lot like Christmas.  It was snowing and it was cold, but the parade was still on.  Watch as Tony|TV follows Mayoral Candidate Tony Martin during the parde.  It was obvious he was loving it.

October 18, 2009 - The 2009 Create WV Conference in Huntington, West Virginia
The purpose of the Create WV Conference is to work towards achieving objectives to a( enable West Virginians to live within the most innovative and prosperous communities in the world, b) propose and support statewide policies and programs that will support creative community development, and c) promote West Virginia as "a greate state to create," thereby retaining and recruting more talented people to live and create here.  The three day event will be held in Huntington, WV October 18-20, 2009.

October 17, 2009 - Introducing Tony|TV
From the beginning the primary goal of this campaign, beyond winning, has been to come up with creative ways to get the community more involved.  Tony|TV is yet another way we are attempting to achieve that goal.
