A year ago I was minding my own business, taking care of my family and living life in our great city.  Since then I've been all over Beckley meeting many new and extradordinary people with some incredible ideas.

Last month I was asked to announce Raleigh County Head Start's Small Fry Showdown Olympic event, I have even played dodgeball for the first time since junior high to help raise money for the Autism Recovery Resource Center.  I have to tell you I love this stuff.

I am going to continue crisscrossing the streets of Beckley, listening and learning more about the challenges and issues that affect each of us.  I am positive that if we continue to work together we can and will move this city forward.
